Online Resources For Your Property Search

Here are some websites that can help you in your next property search…

1. RealEstate.com.au: This website has a huge database of property listings. These days most agents and private sellers list their property on this website. You can search by price range, postcode, house type or suburb. You can even get property listing information emailed to you.

2. Domain: Before the arrival of the above website we all relied on Saturday SMH paper for property listing information. It was and still is a very comprehensive paper. The online version of that paper can be found at Domain. You can search by suburb, state or post code. I don’t think you can search by price range, which is a bit of shortcoming (Atleast for me)…Having said that, if I am looking for a property, I will definitely bookmark this site as well.

3. MyHome: This is a new arrival in the property search market. The search facilities are impressive. It also has a MyHome tv. You can watch all the video clippings online. The videos are full of tips on buying and selling a property.

4. PTY Property Auctions: This again is a new entrant to the market. This website is solely focussed on auction market. The website gives you an opportunity to participate in an auction (online). You have to register beforehand, your credentials will then be checked to make sure all is legitimate and then you will be allowed to participate/bid in an auction, from the privacy of your home.

5. My RP Data: This is Australia’s premier property research company. You can purchase detailed reports on the sales in your suburb, street sales history plus lots and lots more. Most property investment companies use their services for their research. The reports are all very reasonably priced.

6. Home Price Guide: This is also a property research company and provides various property reports. The reports are all reasonably priced.
